Product Description

WELLTRUST K-Wire Driver is a powered orthopedic instrument designed for controlled handling and driving of Kirschner wires during orthopedic procedures. K-wires are commonly used in orthopedic surgery for temporary fixation, positioning, and as guide wires for subsequent instrument or implant placement. A dedicated K-wire driver provides a practical interface for securely gripping and advancing the wire.

The K-Wire Driver is available in two configurations to accommodate different wire diameters. Model AK-1003 has a gripping range of 0.7–2.0 mm, while AK-1004 accommodates wires from 1.5–3.2 mm. Both models feature a speed range of 0–1000 rpm, allowing the operator to select an appropriate rotational speed according to the connected wire and surgical application.

The compact handpiece is designed for use with compatible orthopedic power equipment and provides a dedicated solution for K-wire manipulation. The chuck configuration allows the selected wire to be securely held during operation, supporting controlled advancement and adjustment of the wire.

The WELLTRUST K-Wire Driver can be incorporated into orthopedic power tool configurations where K-wire insertion or positioning is required. It can be used in procedures involving small bone fixation, fracture treatment, and other orthopedic applications where Kirschner wires are used. The actual clinical application and operating parameters should be determined according to the surgical technique, wire specifications, and applicable instructions for use.

With two gripping-range options, the K-Wire Driver provides flexibility for different K-wire sizes while maintaining a consistent 1–1000 rpm operating range. WELLTRUST supplies orthopedic surgical instruments and compatible power-tool components for professional medical applications.
